Carlos

Probably one of my oldest pieces still around, I painted this piece of Carlos Santana in my freshman year of college in 1994. I was 17 at the time and had never attempted a canvas this large (36″ x 48″) The style fell apart as the deadline approached, but all in all it remains one of my most popular works. My late uncle always said I should get it to the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame. Definitely would be better protected than in my home where flying coffee mugs, children with push pins and general decay have already marred it.
